Cymraeg Campus

Cymraeg Campus is a Language Charter which aims to inspire our children and young people to use the Welsh language in all aspects of their lives. There are three awards to work for, the Bronze, Silver and Gold awards. Miss Powell supports the Criw Cymraeg.

There are ten targets to achieve for each award.

Ysgol Dyffryn Maesyfed have proudly achieved both the Bronze Award (Gwobr Efydd) and Silver Award (Gwobr Arian) for Cymraeg Campus. We are currently working towards the Gold Award (Gwobr Aur). This award is achieved based on a commitment and dedication in promoting the Welsh Language and Welsh ethos.

Y Criw Cymraeg

Dyma Criw Cymraeg 2024-2025. The Criw Cymraeg includes learners from Year 1 to Year 6. We meet on a fortnightly basis.

The Criw Cymraeg are responsible for encouraging the use of the Welsh language throughout the school in addition to promoting a positive Welsh ethos. All of their hard work will go towards helping us achieve the Cymraeg Campus language charter Gwobr Aur which we are very excited about.
