Butterfly
We have had some class caterpillars growing and have been able to learn about the life cycle of a butterfly. It has been really interesting!
Theme Park Thrills
What an awesome day! Of course Dosbarth Mrs Curtis and Dosbarth Miss Powell had to visit a theme park, as part of our ‘Theme Park Thrills’ learning theme. It was brilliant to observe the science in real life, and have lots of fun! Da iawn pawb!
Welly Walk
On our welly walk today we visited Esco’s to find out about the local food they sell to support out learning of growing in the local area.
New Radnor Gardens
We have been learning about planting and growing in the local area and went on a welly walk around some of the gardens of New Radnor with the kind invitation of the garden owners. It was interesting to see what each garden had to offer.
Lettuce
Dosbarth Miss Burgoyne had the opportunity to harvest some of the crops we have been growing in our class garden. We washed the lettuce and then made some tasty salad sandwiches to eat… yum yum!
Rollercoaster
Dosbarth Mrs Curtis and Dosbarth Miss Powell have applied their understanding of how rollercoasters operate to begin creating their very own rollercoaster. Lots of fantastic discussions, explanations and teamwork.

Welsh Yard Games
Diolch yn fawr i Tudur Menter Iaith o Mentor Brycheiniog a Maesyfed eto for another fantastic Welsh yard games sessions, at lunchtime. We are proud to be developing our Welsh language skills, outside the classroom.
Team Work
Dosbarth Mrs Curtis have worked on our team building skills around the log circle by taking it in turns and including every member of the team.
We have also been very busy planting our carrots, parsnips and beetroot. Diolch yn fawr to Lisa Powell for the carrots.
The learners listened to instructions from each other and worked together as a team!
