Dosbarth Miss Powell have worked so hard to produce brilliant river themed poems based on ‘The River’ by Valerie Bloom. A superb use of metaphors, alliteration and rhyme! We then applied our watercolour techniques and created a river scene. Gwaith anhygoel pawb

Blwddyn 4 went on a ‘Spider Hunt’ to practise the 8 times tables today. Learners were very disappointed to discover that the spiders were not real!

This afternoon, Dosbarth Miss Powell explored the scientific perspective on ‘How did the world begin?’ We made balloon models to explore the Big Bang Theory. There were lots of fantastic questions posed by learners.

This morning, Blwyddyn 3 were tasked to use sticks to learn the 4 times tables. Bendigedig!

Dosbarth Miss Powell and Dosbarth Mrs Smith had a brilliant morning last week with Welsh Water. Learners used problem solving skills and were tasked to transport water for the facilities within the town. Gwaith wych pawb!

This afternoon, learners in Dosbarth Miss Powel and Dosbarth Mrs Curtis participated in the second session with Impelo dance. We developed an understanding of the terms, ‘unison’ and ‘canon’, as well as having lots of fun!
