❤️Dydd Santes Dwynwen Hapus❤️
We have all been celebrating St Dwynwen’s Day here at Radnor Valley.
Over the last week we have been looking at making profit and then the banking process after. The learners in Dosbarth Mrs Smith worked out the profit from each bottle of apple juice and then used their multiplication skills to work out the total profit. We then counted the money we raised on all the stalls last Friday and looked at how we would bank this money. To deepen our understanding Mrs Dinsdale talked us through this process.
This afternoon we had our third music session with Mr Burrows in Dosbarth Mrs Smith. We have been studying music symbols and looking at graphic notation. Today all learners created their own sound and put these together with the rest of their group. We are looking forward to hearing their performances next week
Dosbarth Mrs Smith had a very busy day on Friday. In the morning we worked with Sarah from Presteigne Festival Project to come up with ideas for the music for our song we produced back last half term. We then finished off the morning with a Children in Need quiz. This afternoon we spoke about the things we’re thankful for and then ended our day with our Impelo dance session.
